About this cottage
Welcome to The Enchanted Cottage on Lake Lure — a 4-bedroom, 3-bath house with some of the most incredible views anywhere on the lake. Our lakefront cottage comes with our pontoon boat (for a small additional fee), plus a pair of kayaks and a canoe.
Ride one of Lake Lure's famous funiculars down to the cottage and separate from the rest of the world. Our newly remodeled kitchen has everything you'll need, or ride the pontoon boat to one of the restaurants on the lake that have boat parking.
The screened-in porch on the main level may be the star attraction of the whole house, beside the lake itself. With stunning views of the Rumbling Bald ridge, you can relax and watch the action on the water. The pontoon boat (an optional $550 for your entire stay) grants access to all the coves and rope swings around the lake — there's no better way to watch the sun disappear behind the mountains than from the middle of the lake at dusk.
There are 4 bedrooms with queen beds — two on the main level, two on the lower level — plus two twin beds in the lower-level living room. The lower level opens onto a wall of windows looking straight out at the view.
